Azurite, also known as Chessylite after the town Chessy-les-Mines where it was mined in France, is a beautiful, striking, deep blue copper stone. Azurite clears the mind, and washes away the stresses, anxieties, and mundane worries that we carry around with us on a daily basis. Azurite also promotes intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about the world.
