Amethyst & Morenci Turquoise Portal 3 Pendant Necklace

This necklace combines two of the great stones, Amethyst & Turquoise.   Both stones are well-known and used by ancient cultures. Amethyst's rich hue has long been associated with royalty and nobility. In ancient history, the amethyst was believed to be a “gem of fire” and was considered to be a precious stone valued as much as a diamond. Turquoise importance spans time and space, cherished by Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Chinese artisans, Native Americans, and is the national gemstone of Tibet. • Natural Amethyst and unusual Morenci Turquoise set in fine silver bezels
• Hand-sawn base, embellished with a decorative beaded collar around the gemstones 
• Pendant base was black oxidized to contrast with the stones vibrant colors 
• Pendant is 1 3/8" wide x 1 and 7/8" tall on an adjustable 3.1 mm sterling silver  rolo chain which can be worn at 3 different lengths - 18", 20" and 22"
