Turquoise & Lapis Shooting Arrow Necklace

This necklace combines two of the great stones, Turquoise and Lapis Lazuli. Both stones are well known and used by ancient cultures. In the middle ages, painters ground up lapis lazuli to make the deep blue paint called ultramarine--the blue used to paint the robes of Mary of Nazareth on church walls and ceilings like in the Sistine Chapel. Turquoise is known to give you a state of calm and tranquility. And Lapis has been associated with strength and courage, royalty and wisdom, intellect and truth. Although Cleopatra was known to use ground lapis lazuli as eyeshadow to improve eyesight, it is better to wear this pendant as your self confidence booster!
